Skagit County DUI News: Texan man gets Lassoed in Anacortes, Skagit County

On October 23rd in Anacortes, Skagit County, a 43-year-old Texas man was arrested on a charge of being in physical control of a vehicle while under the influence after an officer spotted him behind the wheel of a car that was running but not moving in a parking lot in the 1300 block of Commercial Avenue around 2:35 a.m. The officer roused the man. After a brief conversation, the officer believed the man to be under the influence of alcohol. The driver refused physical sobriety tests, was arrested and transported to the police station for a breath test.
