Anacortes Skagit County DUI Attorney: Fewer Anacortes DUI arrests this holiday season
Throughout the State DUI arrests were down this holiday season. This is also true for Skagit County DUI cases and naturally, Anacortes DUI cases. From Christmas through New Year Anacortes police department only reported three DUI arrests in Anacortes. This is the time of year when DUI arrests everywhere, including Skagit County and Anacortes, increase. However this year, they are down significantly. Good right!? If you had a few too many and risked being arrested, then yes, good news. The reality is not good news. DUI driving is still as popular as ever. Anti-DUI campaigns still exist but are not the cause of few DUI arrests in Snohomish County, Skagit County, King County, Island County or in this case, Anacortes. Nope, the reason for fewer DUI arrests in money, or lack of it. Budget cuts to government mean more DUI drivers are getting away with it. Government hypocrisy? Of course!
