Anacortes, Skagit County DUI Attorney: DUI Trap in Anacortes leads to DUI Arrest
On January 9th, 2011 a 51-year-old Anacortes man was arrested on a charge of DUI after he disobeyed the right turn only signs on O Avenue at 12th Street in the City of Anacortes. He reportedly accelerated rapidly, turned onto I Avenue and parked his vehicle partially on the sidewalk on the north side of the roadway facing oncoming traffic. Anacortes Police Officers noticed obvious signs of intoxication when contacting the man, who refused to submit to field sobriety tests. He was arrested and taken to the Anacortes police station for a breath test. Warning: This one particular road with the right only turn leads to DUI arrests frequently in Anacortes.
