Claim to Fame: Actress who played Mary Ann on "Gilligan's Island"

Facts: Dawn was pulled over after a Sheriff allegedly saw her swerve across the center lines of State Highway 33 in Idaho and observed her speeding up and slowing down. A search of her vehicle produced four half-smoked joints and two small cases to store marijuana. She said the marijuana was left in the car by hitchhikers. She was charged with possession and DUI
Outcome: She pled guilty to one count of Reckless Driving and was sentenced to five days in jail, fined $410.50 and placed on probation for six months.
Did You Know? Wells was a former Miss Nevada when she auditioned for the role of Mary Ann and her competition included Raquel Welch and Pat Priest. In February 2007, she starred as Lovey Howell in Gilligan's Island: The Musical, a musical stage adaptation of the TV show.
