Snohomish County Deferred Prosecution- How to do it

If you have been charged with a DUI in Snohomish County, including Everett, Lynnwood, Monroe, Arlington, Marysville, Mill Creek, Mountlake Terrace, Edmonds, Mukilteo and Lake Stevens, and are considering doing a Deferred Prosecution, you must be aware of the procedures in District Court.  The requirements in Snohomish County District Court for DUI Deferred Prosecutions are strict.  Here they are:
1) You must have an evaluation that recommends the Deferred Prosecution program;
2) You must have completed 36 hours of treatment;
3) You must be in compliance with treatment;
4) You must have never previously done the Deferred Prosecution program;
5) You must have completed the Deferred Prosecution Petition and Order Review forms;
6) You must have completed the Deferred Prosecution Petition and Order forms;
7) You must have completed the Driving Status Form and have intalled the Ignition Interlock Device; and finally,
8) You must have submitted to probation all of this paperwork more than 7 days prior to the presentation of the Deferred Prosecution to the District Court Judge in Snohomish County.
