Anacortes, Skagit County Criminal Defense Attorney: Theft of an iPhone-they have an App for that!
In Anacortes, Skagit County on December 24th a resident of the 2000 block of N Avenue arrived home and found the exterior doors standing open and the inside of the house ransacked. Several items were missing including a laptop computer, an iPhone, a Play Station game system and a loaded pistol. An Anacortes officer contacted a 16-year-old Anacortes boy walking in the vicinity and the stolen pistol was recovered from the boy's pocket. Further investigation implicated a 14-year-old Anacortes boy and a 19-year-old Arlington man in the burglary.
A search warrant was served at a home in the 2000 block of N Avenue where another piece of the stolen property was recovered and the 19-year-old was taken into custody. The 14-year-old was later found and arrested. All three teens face theft and/or burglary charges.
