Anacortes, Skagit County Criminal Defense Attorney:  Rental car not returned but not stolen

In Anacortes, Skagit County on December 16^th  a car rental business in the 900 block of 25th Street reported a 2005 Ford Taurus rented by a 56-year-old Coupeville woman on Nov. 11 was not returned as expected on Nov. 13. They tried contacting the woman to no avail. The car was entered into the statewide computer system as a stolen vehicle. On Nov. 27 the vehicle was found unoccupied in Snohomish County and recovered.
