Anacortes, Skagit County Criminal Defense Attorney: Anacortes man arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia
In Anacortes, Skagit County on December 28th an Anacortes officer stopped a car driven by a 19-year-old Mount Vernon man for speeding on 22nd Street near Commercial Avenue around 2:45 p.m. The Anacortes officer smelled the odor of burnt marijuana inside the car and inquired about the smell. The driver allegedly said he did not have any marijuana in the car and said he hadn't smoked it in a week. But he handed the Anacortes officer a metallic pipe that contained burnt marijuana residue. The driver was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and released.
