Anacortes, Skagit County DUI Attorney: Anacortes driver tells Anacortes Officers she's really drunk then arrested for DUI
On January11th, 2011 a 57-year-old Anacortes woman was arrested on a charge of DUI after police responded to a report of a car blocking traffic on Oakes Avenue at Anacopper Road in the City of Anacortes around 6 p.m. Witnesses reported a woman was standing next to the car. Officers saw the car as it was turning around in a nearby driveway and followed it eastbound. It turned onto Hartford without signaling and entered the northbound lane of traffic going southbound. After Anacortes Police Officers were to stop the car, the driver reportedly told officers she was really intoxicated and could not perform field sobriety tests. She showed signs of intoxication and reportedly had an open container of alcohol in her car. She was arrested and transported to the Anacortes police station for a breath test.
