Skagit County DUI Attorney: Anacortes DUI after erratic driving, DRE and blood draw

On December 10th in Anacortes, Skagit County an Anacortes police officer  received a call around 10:38 p.m. that a maroon colored car westbound on SR 20 in Anacortes, Skagit County was speeding up, slowing down and swerving in and out of the lane of travel. An officer caught up with the vehicle as it entered the city of Anacortes on Commercial Avenue. After seeing erratic driving, the Anacortes officer stopped the vehicle and the driver submitted to field sobriety tests, including a portable breath test. The man allegedly failed the physical test but had a low breath alcohol reading. He allegedly told the officer he was taking some prescription medication. A drug recognition expert from the State Patrol took custody of the man and arrested him on a charge driving while under the influence of drugs.  This case is definitely worth a fight!
