Lynnwood DUI Attorney: Can you be charged with a DUI in Snohomish County if you BAC is below 0.08? YES!

During the holiday season it is important that you be with those you love.  During these times we share good times, good stories, and good cheer.  Sometimes good cheer can involve a drink or two.  Many years ago a drink or two followed by driving was not thought to be dangerous or illegal.  Hence, many people did this without the fear that a police officer could stop them, arrest them, and process them for DUI.  Well folks, those times are no more and you should all fear doing this.  In the last seven days two people have met with me to discuss their DUI cases - one with a 0.04 out of Lynnwood and the other a 0.037 out of Anacortes.  Will the DUI in Lynnwood or Anacortes stick?  No, of course not.  My hope is that they are both dismissed.  However, these poor souls have had to spend good money to hire an attorney when it was completely unnessary.  We all know why this is happening, but it seems so unfair.   However, take this to heart and if you consume only one drink, wait a few hours to drive or don't drive at all.
