Washington State Patrol trooper Sean Templeton received the Norma Thompson Award For removing 264 impaired drivers in 2009 on 164 night shifts.

Trooper Templeton was observed this weekend on TV performing the HGN on a suspect. It was readily observed that he was not performing it properly as NHTSA prescribes in its DUI manual. I'll detail the errors and attach a link to the story in a future blog.
