On December 12th in Anacortes, Skagit County a 33-year-old Stanwood women was charged with DUI following a traffic stop on Q Avenue in Anacortes, Skagit County around 1:56 a.m. The vehicle she was driving allegedly did not come to a stop at the intersection of Fourth Street and Q Avenue in Anacortes, Skagit County and proceeded south on Q Avenue. The vehicle allegedly crossed the center line several times and its speed fluctuated well below the posted limit. The driver was arrested on a charge of DUI after she allegedly failed physical sobriety tests. She told the Anacortes officers she could not take the Breathalyzer test so she was taken to the hospital for a blood draw. Interesting to see why she could not take the breath test.
