On December 13th in the Anacortes area, Skagit County a 23-year-old Sedro-Woolley man was arrested on a charge of DUI after a motorist called 911 to report a vehicle driving erratically on Highway 20 in Anacortes, Skagit County at Reservation Road. Anacortes Officers caught up with the vehicle as it entered the city of Anacortes. At the light at Highway 20 and R Avenue in Anacortes the man's car drifted into the eastbound turn lane of oncoming traffic then swerved back into the proper lane to negotiate the roundabout. Officers stopped the car in the 3300 block of Commercial Avenue in Anacortes. The driver appeared intoxicated, had open containers of alcohol in the vehicle and had an interlock device which was apparently disabled. The man was arrested and taken to the Anacortes police station for a breath test. He was cited with DUI then released.
