On March 12th, an Anacortes, Skagit County, Police Officer stopped a car driven by a 47-year-old Anacortes woman in the 2200 block of 30th Street around 2:12 a.m. after her vehicle crossed the center line into the oncoming officer’s lane before abruptly correcting. The car was speeding and the driver failed to use turn signals. She reportedly was unsteady on her feet, had watery bloodshot eyes and smelled of intoxicants. She failed field sobriety tests and was arrested on a charge of DUI. She provided breath samples over one and a half times the legal limit. She was cited and released to a sober adult.
