Six people were injured Saturday night when a Toyota Celica crashed into a Chevy Impala at 23rd and King.Seattle police say the incident happened around 8:10 p.m. The Celica was traveling was traveling south on 23rd when it went to make a left turn. In the process of making the turn, it crashed...more into the side of the Impala, which was traveling north on 23rd.The impact of the crash sent the Impala out of control, go over a curb on the east side of 23rd and hit a tree broadside. The car bounced off the tree and came to rest straddling the curb and street.There were five people in the Impala and one person in the Celica. All were taken to Harborview for treatment. One woman in the Impala suffered a fractured ankle and a fractured jaw. Another woman in the Impala had a fractured pelvis. All others had minor injuries, police said.The driver of the Celica was evaluated for impairment while at Harborview. A SPD DUI recognition officer said she exhibited signs of intoxication...
