On August 12, 2011 at approximately 1:02 a.m., 9700 block N.E. 132nd St. in Kirkland, a Kirkland police officer stopped a 58-year-old Kirkland man after the Kirkland Police officer observed poor lane travel. The Kirkland man performed poorly on field sobriety tests and provided a preliminary breath test of .136 and a blood alcohol content sample of .118. He was also cited for improper lane travel, booked and released from Kirkland Jail.  A Kirkland DUI Municipal Court date is pending.
