Bothell King County DUI Attorney: Bellevue Man under investigation for DUI after classic '68 Vette flips

BELLEVUE, Wash. -- A man was seriously injured when he crashed his 1968 Chevy Corvette in Bellevue Sunday evening, and troopers say alcohol was a factor.
Witnesses told troopers the 52-year-old driver was going extremely fast down I-90 around 5:20 p.m. when he lost control and crashed into a concrete jersey wall near West Lake Sammamish Parkway. The impact caused the car to flip over near the right shoulder, and the driver was partially ejected.
The driver was rushed to Overlake Hospital in Bellevue for treatment of serious injuries, troopers said.
Investigators later determined that alcohol was likely a factor in the crash and the Bellevue man was later arrested for investigation of driving under the influence.
