Anacortes Skagit County DUI Attorney: Anacortes man gives Anacortes officer vehicle’s owner manual instead of driver license

Anacortes Skagit County DUI Attorney:  Anacortes man gives Anacortes officer vehicle's owner manual instead of driver license

On March 5th in Anacortes Skagit County a 31-year-old Anacortes man was arrested on a charge of DUI after an Anacortes police officer stopped him around 12:20 a.m. for speeding in the downtown corridor of Commercial Avenue in Anacortes. The man appeared intoxicated and confused and reportedly handed the officer the owner's manual for his car when he was asked for his driver's license. The man failed physical sobriety tests and was arrested and taken to the police department for a breath test.

Note:  NHTSA, the governmental body that "invented" the standardized field sobriety tests does not use the word "fail," anywhere.  Why do officers use the word fail?  They must have been trained by the Seattle Police Department
