Super Bowl is here. Time for parties, tachos, cocktail wienies, margeritas and beer. Yes, time to watch the Super Bowl commercials, party with friends and even watch the game. However, after the game is where you can get in trouble. If you have consumed more than one drink during the game, do not drive! Plan ahead. DUI Empahsis Patrols are in full force during the day and are trolling on major roads and around the more popular bars. Some Troopers and police officers even park a block or so away from popular bars and stop drivers for little reason just to check if they are driving under the influence (such a stop, for no reason and just to check for DUI drivers is illegal by the way). And we DUI attorneys know which officers/troopers do this as a regular practice.
So be fore warned. Do not drink and drive on Super Bowl Sunday. Be safe, be smart.
