On May 4, deputies responded to a 911 hang up from a 43-year-old woman in a vehicle. They found the woman inside the vehicle, sobbing and clearly intoxicated. She agreed to field sobriety tests, which she failed. She appeared unstable, and deputies decided she shouldn’t be left at home alone so she was arrested and provided a BAC sample of 0.231. She was transported to Island County Jail and guards then stated she “miraculously sprang to her feet.”
Police stated that she “faked fainting after her arrest.” Interesting assumption. Read more here: http://stanwoodcamanonews.our-hometown.com/news/2010-05-18/Camano_Scene/Intoxicated_woman_fakes_fainting_after_arrest.html
