A 17-year-old was killed in Thurston County in what police said was a DUI crash.
Michael Conine was killed at about 2 a.m. Sunday when a car slammed into a tree. Police said Conine was one of four 17-year-old boys in the car which crashed in the Capitol Forest near Olympia. The driver was under the influence of alcohol or drugs, police said. Thurston County authorities said all the boys in the 1989 Ford Bronco were wearing seat belts.
