A 57-year-old Anacortes woman was arrested on a charge of DUI after she reportedly ran her car off the road and over a hedge before becoming high centered on some bushes in the 2600 block of Q Avenue around 8:56 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 5.  After being arrested for DUI she was taken to the station for processing.  The woman then asked the officer if she would be "put to death" if she failed the breath test.
