By Riley S. Lovejoy – Many people were saddened by the story last week of two high school seniors killed last week on I-5 in Seattle, when a drunk driver rear ended their disabled vehicle. But then this weekend, six more people were injured in Thurston County when an intoxicated driver plowed into a car with 5 people inside. And then also this weekend in Thurston County, a woman entered the wrong way on I-5 and crashed head-on into a patrol car. Ken Schram writes in his blog that if the DUI laws carried harsher penalties for violators, there would be fewer of these horrific accidents. What do you think?
