By Riley S. Lovejoy – A young teenager was enjoying his recently received Christmas present, a new skateboard, when a drunk driver in an SUV without headlights on ran into him and killed him. The kid’s brother shouted “watch out!” as he saw the SUV approaching, but the kid never had time to turn and see the car that would take his life. As part of the plea agreement, the drunk driver will serve 2 years and 7 months in prison. Read the story as reported by KOMO news here.
