Anacortes Skagit County DUI Lawyer: Anacortes Man Refuses to Stop then Refuses to Blow
On July 1st in Anacortes a 59-year-old Anacortes man was arrested on charges of DUI, driving with a suspended license and failure to yield to a police vehicle after an officer attempted to stop the car he was driving for speeding around 3:14 a.m. The officer saw the car speeding on westbound Highway 20 and radar confirmed the car was going 68 mph.
When the officer tried to stop the car, the driver continued driving despite the officer activating emergency lights and siren. The car eventually pulled into a driveway in the 3400 block of M Avenue. The officer saw the driver display signs of intoxication and arrested him. The man was taken to the station for a breath test but he refused. He was booked into Skagit County Jail.
