Anacortes Skagit County DUI Attorney: Florida man gets juiced for Anacortes DUI
On June 16th an Anacortes police officer on routine patrol spotted a vehicle making a left hand turn from O Avenue onto the westbound lane of 12th Street in Anacortes in violation of the right hand only signage around 2:18 a.m. The vehicle then accelerated to more than 50 mph in the 30 mph zone. The officer stopped the driver and identified him as a 36-year-old Florida man. The man failed voluntary field sobriety tests, was arrested on a charge of DUI and taken to the Police Department for a breath test. He was cited on a charge of DUI and released on his promise to appear in court.
