Anacortes Skagit County DUI Lawyer: Repeat DUI driver in Anacortes
Anacortes Officers were dispatched to watch for a possible drunken driver who left a local casino and who had a suspended driver's license from a previous DUI arrest around 4:19 p.m. Tuesday, May 24.
An officer saw the vehicle on Commercial Avenue and stopped the car near the intersection of 32nd Street. The driver, a 48-year-old Anacortes man, smelled strongly of intoxicants. He was initially arrested on a charge of driving while suspended.
He became agitated and started saying his life was ruined and he wouldn't be alive tomorrow. He allegedly admitted having three drinks and provided a portable breath test significantly over the legal limit. He also faces a charge of DUI.
