On May 10th in Anacortes, Skagit County an Anacortes police officer on patrol in the 1200 block of Commercial Avenue stopped a vehicle that was not in compliance with an equipment violation warning the officer had given several weeks ago.

She failed physical sobriety tests and was arrested. A small amount of marijuana, a smoking pipe, and full and empty bottles of beer were found in her car.
She was taken to the police department for a breath test. She faces charges of DUI, underage drinking, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released to a sober adult.
