Anacortes Skagit County DUI Lawyer: If you are drunk in Anacortes, do not travel too slowly (or too fast)
On May 8th in Anacortes, Skagit County an Anacortes police officer on routine patrol saw a southbound vehicle swerving over the center line and traveling very slow in the 400 block of Commercial Avenue in Anacortes around 1:34 a.m. The officer stopped the car after following it for several blocks.
The driver, a 32-year-old Anacortes man, reportedly appeared intoxicated, had poor balance, slurred his speech and smelled of liquor. The man refused to perform field sobriety tests and was arrested and taken to the police department for a breath test. The results were more than double the legal limit. He was cited and released to a sober adult.
