Anacortes Skagit County DUI Lawyers: Commercial Avenue Speed Zone in Anacortes nets another DUI driver
On April 6th an Anacortes police officer on patrol in the 2700 block of Commercial Avenue in Anacortes saw a vehicle that appeared to be speeding around 10:06 p.m. A radar reading confirmed the vehicle's speed to be 39 mph in the 30 mph zone. The driver, a 39-year-old Anacortes man, allegedly showed signs of intoxication. He agreed to perform voluntary field sobriety tests which he failed (which NHTSA says you cannot fail). He was cited on a charge of DUI in Anacortes and released to a sober adult.
