Anacortes Skagit County DUI Lawyers: Anacortes man stopped for driving too slowly then arrested for DUI
On March 26th in Anacortes Skagit County an Anacortes police officer on routine patrol saw a vehicle westbound on Seventh Street from N Avenue in Anacortes allegedly weaving and traveling slowly around 11 p.m. The Anacortes police officer stopped the car and noticed an unusually heavy amount of cigarette smoke emitting from the passenger compartment. The driver allegedly exhibited signs of intoxication and reportedly told the officer he would not take any voluntary field sobriety tests because he was drunk. The 56-year-old Anacortes man was arrested on a charge of DUI and taken to the Anacortes police station for a breath test.
