(ANACORTES, SKAGIT COUNTY)— The 29th Annual Oyster Run invaded Anacortes and the rest of Skagit County this past weekend. As one would predict the Washington State Patrol was watching for violations such as speed, aggressive driving, DUI, and lane travel violations, stated Trooper Keith Leary. Leary says the State Patrol’s aircraft, equipped with a Forward Looking Infra Red camera system, will also be watching for traffic violations from the air during the Oyster Run this weekend. Leary says historically this is a very well attended event that has brought as many as 30,000 motorcycles to the Anacortes area and the rest of Skagit County.
