By Riley S. Lovejoy, Attorney at Law – Bainbridge Island, Washington - A woman claimed she had only “two beers” after officers found her limping next to her car, which had been left running with the headlights still on, after she drove througha neighbor’s fence, over a small tree and recycling bin and winding up on their front lawn. She agreed to perform field sobriety tests, and gave a portable breath sample of .155, almost twice the legal limit. Later at the police station, she allegedly told the arresting officer, “I knew I shouldn’t have been driving.” Read the story here.
