By Riley S. Lovejoy, Attorney at Law - Washington State Patrol arrested a 34-year-old Bremerton man for DUI early Tuesday after he crashed his truck while heading southbound on Illahee Road at approximately 12:20 am early in the morning of June 8th, 2010. According to the troopers responding to the scene, the driver allegedly lost control of his truck near the intersection with Roosevelt street, swerved into the northbound lane and eventually hit a road sign and a couple fences before the truck came to rest on its side. The truck was badly damaged but thankfully no one was seriously hurt in the incident. The troopers suspect the driver was under the influence of intoxicants and speeding. The suspect was treated at Harrison Medical Center for a minor injury and booked into Kitsap County jail on suspicion of DUI. Read the story here.
