On August 25th at approximately 3 a.m. at the 900 block of Sixth St. in Kirkland, a 26-year-old King County man was driving north bound on Sixth Street in Kirkland and struck a parked vehicle. The man then called to have his vehicle towed from the scene. A towing representative called police about this matter. Kirkland Police stopped the man while he was walking back to his vehicle and admitted to driving the vehicle, but missed the part about hitting another vehicle. He failed all field sobriety tests and was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
