Anacortes Skagit County DUI Drunk Driving Lawyer: Skagit County DUI Emphasis Patrol Update

Officers on DUI patrols arrested 35 drivers in Skagit County during a recent three-week period as part of the national "Drive Hammered, Get Nailed" campaign. That number is down from 60 arrests last year and 79 in 2009, according to the Washington Traffic Safety Commission.
The Anacortes and Sedro-Woolley police departments and the State Patrol participated in the campaign, from Aug. 19 to Sept. 5. The extra patrols were paid for by a grant from the Safety Commission.
